You have made a safe landing at the web site of McMinnville
Remote Control. We are a modeling club operating a flying field
on Sunset Point Road in beautiful McMinnville, Warren County, Tennessee.
The McMinnville club is one of the fastest growing clubs in the State.
And has one of the most beautiful flying sites in the area. Please
come by and visit us, and sit back and watch. This is a great sport
for young and old. Anyone interested in starting in this hobby, M.
R. C. has plenty of members willing to start you off right.
Keep a check on our site, for up coming events, and new pictures, of some
fantastic models.
We are proud to say we have a 450' x
60' grass runway,
with a 150' dog leg. We also have a 20' wide paved runway that runs
along our grass strip. Our field has a club house, and rest room
facilities. Also a shaded spectator area. And plenty of parking.
This field is the result of combined efforts of the great City of McMinnville,
and many members of McMinnville Remote Control Club, starting in 1987,
till the present. Come visit with us soon. |

About
our Club:
McMinnville Remote Control was
first organized in late 1997 by a few local hobbyist who enjoy the sport
of building and flying model aircraft. It was their dream and goal to obtain
a flying site and to promote radio controlled modeling to those interested
in learning. Since that time the MRC Club has found a home and has been
issued Charter no. 4032 by the Academy
of Model Aeronautics (AMA).
We not only help with the skills required
to pursue this hobby but also promote fellowship among our members. Modeling
is a fun sport for the whole family to enjoy. It is educational and relaxing
with lots of rewards. There is no age, sex, race, color, religious, or
social status restrictions. We do require that you have a valid AMA
license to fly. The MRC Club welcomes new members and spectators alike.
