TRIP UPDATE:  We have some changes to announce that will streamline some of our day to day operation. We have dropped the San Fernando job and staying with the Ville Hermoso job and adding a Matamoros job. They will be close together and we will not have to cross the check point. Ville Hermoso is a tear off and replace metal roof. Matamoros is an addition which will include a roof if the Mexicans get the block walls up which they are working on now.
 
Marion AG with PEE CREW is on board. Also, Paris, TN Baptist is sending a few folks.
 
Its time again to begin planning the spring trip.  What a short winter between finishing up the last trip and making all the preparations for spring.  Our emphasis this trip is Experience Mission.

When I think of all of you that will be joining in the grand fellowship for the first time, along with all the veterans of many trips, I get so excited because I know you will never be the same once you "Experience Missions".

We have been invited again to work with Mike McGee and go south of Malamoros, to San Fernando, where a new church has been built and needs a lot of work to finish it up.  Also, there is a need to install a Metal Roof on a church in Valle Hermoso.

The team will stay at San Fernando, where we will stay.  The Construction Team will travel to Valle Hermoso to work part of the week, which is a few miles north.

BE ADVISED - We will be South of the 25 Mile Check Point, therefore having proper identification is mandatory, e.g.:

• Passport
• Original Birth Certificate
• Drivers License

• First due        February 4, 2001
• Second due   March 4, 2001
• Third due       March 24, 2001

• You will need money for your meals and snacks on the way to and from Mexico, also, for shopping on the last day.

There will be no refunds after March 11, 2001

Our construction project will cost $10,000.  We will need this money no later than February 24, 2001, in order to have the material on site when we arrive.

Please ask your church to help in a small way so it will not be such a heavy burden on a few churches.

On order to avoid any possible offense to the Mexican people - Ladies please follow the guidelines listed below:

• No pants or sleeveless tops (These are not allowed in Mexico) Only to travel to and from.
• Jewelry should be at a minimum
• Make-up at a minimum

Children's Ministry

Bring the following items:

• Kleenex
• Small Fan
• Baby Wipes
• Off - for insects
• Disinfectant Spray
• Deodorant
• Tooth Paste, etc.
• Water - either bottled or in some other container
• Bring a pillow and blanket for the ride, and dress comfortably

You may bring One (1) large suitcase, and include a change of clothes in a carry on bag.

While the men are doing construction work - there will be Women's Ministry, Medical Ministry, Children's Ministry, Street Ministry, and Intercessory Prayer going on around the church.

At night we will have Great Worship Services and everyone will be together.

You do not have to speak Spanish to be effective and you will learn some while you are there.

Lets have a Great trip and if you or your church can help with construction cost we need $10,000 as soon as possible.

NOTE:  IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TRIP - I WILL NEED THE RECOMMENDATION FORM FILLED OUT BY YOUR PASTOR TO ACCOMPANY YOUR APPLICATION.  I ALSO NEED A COPY OF THE INSURANCE FORM AND HEALTH FORM.
